I think you've discovered the cause to many of our BL dilemmas. I too had a distant father and coupled with a distant mother and isolated on a farm with no way of getting out enough to socialize with other kids other than school,I think I too needed friendship both with other boys and with some older man, neither of which I received as much as I needed when I needed it. Maybe some of us are trying to capture now what we needed back then and, like Splash pointed out, some how an erotic element got twisted in there as well, |
