Don't you ever get tired of knowing that the thing that seems to define a large part of who you are is the one thing that you can't share with your friends?

It makes our relationship with Jesus all that more special!! :)

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that the very thing that you desire more than anything else is something that you really can't have?

Are you sure you really want to have "that"?

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that as much as you may deny it, much of what you do is really determined by where the boys are going to be?

I think this has more to do with our calling and our passion. Think of it in terms of God placing us in these boys' lives for a purpose. (Unless you're going to the park or neighborhood swimming pool just to be in the presence of boys -- then I'd check my motives for doing so.)

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that even when you are with the person you really love being with, in their mind, you are just another friend?

What are we to them in the mind of God? :)

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that what makes you happy can also cause tremendous guilt and shame and emptiness at the same time?

The enemy tries to pervert any of God's purposes for our lives, so instead try to keep reminding yourself of the good things you're doing for these boys. Doesn't that make you more happy?

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that while your friends are getting married and having kids, you can't get past your desires for the ten year old boy next to you?

We shouldn't blame our desires for a boy for keeping us unmarried. Look at how many hetereosexual men get married at the same time as desiring other women. And lots of non-boylove men are single and over 30, wishing they'd be married with kids by now.

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that if you did act on your desires, you would end up in jail and really mess up a kid's life?

Again, what is it you really desire?

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that a future filled with loneliness awaits you?

Oh, tigris, snap out of it. :) Eternity with Jesus awaits.

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that society tends to be suspicious of people like us?

Homosexuals, boylovers? or Arabs, Jews? or Blacks, whites? or Christians, satanists? or ??

Don't you ever get tired of knowing that if not kept in balance, this can take over your thought life and also the rest of your life?

tigris, i understand where you're coming from, but i just wanted to give you a different perspective. remember, above all, you are a child of God -- this is what defines us most.
