GCF - While I wasn't impacted by your feelings about Christianity, I forgive you anyway. I am aware of how preaching can feel very judgemental. I have learned in my short Christian life a very important thing: Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God No matter what our belief, we have ALL sinned and no sin is worse or better than any other sin. The mistake that most preachers have made is to lack the humility to admit that THEY TOO are imperfect. Maybe their imperfection is not homosexuality, maybe it is pride, greed or selfishness. They choose to get on a high horse about a sin that THEY PERSONALLY don't have to worry about, in order to make themself seem more righteous. This is wrong and ungodly. Only Jesus was perfect. The rest of us are saved by Grace. And that includes you too :-) You are not alone. Love, Ben |
