Hi Ben, From reading your post I can see that you have a very good "handle" on the fact that what is really going on in your life right now is the work of God and also why He is doing it. That is something that shows a GREAT amount of spiritual maturity, brother, and I really praise God for that! And I can trully understand your loneliness and why you are hurting right now. Believe me, I have been "the clay in the potter's hands" many times myself, especially within the past four or five years, and I know the kind of pain you are going through. So I hope I might have some words of encouragement for you. You know that God is always actively at work in the lives of all of His children. He takes the responsability of being our Father and teacher very seriously, but also very, very lovingly and with deep compassion and concern for our well-being. This can always be seen in the lives of the great men and women of the Bible, both Old and New Testiment. The people whom God calls His own and who are a part of His Kingdom. It is because He loves us so much that He works so hard in our lives. And the work that He does in our lives, although painful, is always for our good and for our growth in the Spirit, which is always very good. You and I and everyone who are His are in a slow and often painful process of growth under the direction and care of God, our Father. Believe me, the results will FAR outweigh any pain we have to endure right now. I have absolute faith in that!
