particularly through people I've met through this board - both virtually, and to an increasing extent in real life. I'd encourage you to take the step of starting to exchange emails with some of us; when my YF first went to university my weekly phone call was the high point of my week - then as my closeness to others on this board developed, it became less significant, and now my contact with him is just one of a munber of things that keep me feeling affirmed. (OK so my YF is a lot older than TJ, but the principle applies by the sound of it). Which doesn't mean that there aren't occaisions when life is lonely, but they're a LOT less frequent than they used to be! Looking forward to hearing from you!? |
