Heather,

I'm very much interested, but haven't done any research in this area. I've done word studies, but I still don't know exactly why certain words were used in the Bible. It is interesting to read things like Plato's Symposium and wonder how things really were during those times, and perhaps speculate that some of these things may have been happening among the Roman soldiers in Israel during Jesus' time. But I just don't know enough to give good reply to your statements (and years of research). However, please know that I do read your posts and collect the info to which you and Mark (and J) have made reference. Thanks.
