I'm not sure either. Jesus told one guy, "Let the dead bury their dead." And for those who die in Christ, we should rejoice. There are times though that it feels a person's life was cut short in the midst of doing great things for this world and others in it, and that's sad. I'd think of people like Princess Diana (since you mentioned British royalty), and others such as MLK, Jr. -- and even Malcolm X who was killed at a point where he could've taught us so much, especially in today's climate. And, of course, I'm skipping other obvious people. But first I want to hear what others have to say in reply to your post. Splash |
