No matter how "nicely" or "reasonably" one frames homophobia, it's still hatred. It still produces hateful results - like mothers being denied the companionship of their children, loving life partners being forced apart because they can't immigrate together, teenagers committing suicide, etc, etc, etc. To hear people saying they are not hateful for espousing views that result in the above examples is just patently ridiculous. |
