I've already said this to Forgiven privately, so I suppose this is for everyone else. Forgiven wrote elsewhere: We can preach biblical Christianity, or we can preach a lie. I'm sorry if you interpreted my robust attack on Islam as hate This is not the place to preach anything, except by our love. It is not the place to make a "robust attack" on anything. It is a support forum. Forgiven may be entitled to express his views on Islam and on gay relationships, and others are entitled to defend him, but it may not be helpful to do so. "Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial" (1 Cor. 6:12 and 10:23). The evidence that it is not helpful is in the heated debates below which have only resulted in people turning way from us. Bach and others have put a lot of time into setting up and keeping this place open. I for one would like to see it stay that way. It would be a shame if its purpose were damaged by entering into debate that does not belong here, if it puts people off coming here. Let the non-Christian visitors express their religious views, but let's only reply in a way that helps them talk about their issues with boylove. That's what we're here for. That's why most of us came here in the first place. Let's not forget that. Let's even have a debate on the ethics of gay relationships if we need to, but let's only do it in a way that is clearly related to supporting each other as boylovers, and not for its own sake.
