Hi Mark,

I did not consider the Bible to be the infallible Word of God for the first nine years I was a Christian for exactly the same reasons you have stated (brutality and hatred in the Old Testament and the Pauline epistles). I would be more than happy to share with you how I came to accept the Bible as infallible and the importance of this belief in apologetics or discussion of morals and ethics with believers and non-believers alike.
