For Those Who Want Their Cake and Eat It Too

I have already mentioned this further down the index, but I would like to bring it up to the top to ensure that this is seen. It was in my response to Babel-17's post about God. I thought this would really interest some of you: "In the Light of Truth: The Grail Message" by Abd-ru-shin (or Abdruschin). I wasn't a believer before, but I am now that I've read this book! (To be honest, I don't consider myself Christian, but since I do now believe in Christ as the saviour and what not, I guess, by definition, I am Christian. Correct me if I'm wrong, there. . . .)

This book is the author's presentation of God's Creation as a whole. It is intended to be in the perspective of God, in a sense, because the author claims that he has drawn this information from the Lord himself. I know that may sound a little fruity, but trust me, the book is a marvel!

The interesting thing about this work is that it is written in such a way that each essay (168 of them) builds on the reader's idea of Creation, so that once you finish it you have a complete and total picture of it. It is not for the intellect, but for the spirit; you can never understand this book with just the intellect because it talks about things that are not of this physical world, and our intellect is restricted to this physical world (space and time). The spirit, or the "ego", can understand everything lower than the spirit, which allows for a lot of scope! You cannot get anything from this book without reading it from beginning to end, in the proper sequence, for this reason. Also, if you read it in random pieces, you would be hindering your judgement of the work, and that isn't fair.

Unfortunately, the work is written in a severe and condescending tone. It is written this way purposely to repel "materialists" (what the writer calls those who haven't the ability to connect with their spirits, or intuitive perception). The writer also refers to these people as "intellectuals", as they have become slaves to their intelligence, but that doesn't mean that the intellect is a bad thing; the intellect can never even recognise God, or anything in the "beyond", for it is limitted to time and space.

I've entitled this post "For Those Who Want Their Cake and Eat It Too" for a reason. This book lets you have that. You can believe in God (have your cake) and have complete understanding (I should say "recognition") of God's work (and eat your cake too). Many Christians are faced with the dilemma that their faith is too broad, and lacks answers to more mundane questions. This book gives a complete picture of Creation without any gaps for the reader who reads it, with an open mind and a tuned spirit, from beginning to end.

I can understand that people would find the manner in which this book is written to be somewhat offensive, as the auther speaks lowly of mankind, or imparticular, the "materialists". But this is for a just reason. He explains quite thoroughly that the materialists, or the majority of mankind, is on the wrong track, and because of our weakness of giving in to Lucifer's temptations. This book is his desparate effort to save us from what is called "spiritual death", or what we often call eternal damnation.

Don't be to quick to judge! This book shows us our true position and meaning in Creation, and what we shall truly see when we die, and why we will see it. It gives the reader a helping hand back to the Spiritual Realm, or "Paradise".

If you finish this book and understand it entirely, you will find that things could not possibly be explained any better, or any clearer. It is 100% conservative with the Bible (although it clarifies some things), so you won't have to leave that space empty on the bookshelf.

There can be only one Truth, and in my opinion there cannot be any other book that gives a better picture of Creation.

God's Creation is perfectly fair, and self-sustaining. We reap what we sow, and with this book we can know exactly why and how. We are even given a sensible explanation why we cannot understand the mind or the life of God the almighty. God is love, is life, is justice!

This book turned me from a grumbling athiest into a happy believer!

I'll stop yammering now, I suppose. Anyhow, do visit the website!

Sincerely,
Teraniel
