and if I am I apologise. I'd encourage you to give them the benefit of the doubt - emails do go astray occaisionally, so it is possible that that is the issue. But there is a wider and far more thorny issue here; how far does one go continuously making the effort to keep a friendship alive. With two categories - YFs(!) and married people, especially with children, I've long since come to the conclusion that I have to do all the work of staying in touch. With people from this board - well, there's a substantial number who have been around briefly, whom I've emailed to quite a few times and then it's all gone quiet :-( |
