Splash, Thanks for understanding here. I guess we wont ever have a concrete answer, at least in our time here on earth. One of the debates that I've heard at church is what would happen to people in remote villages of third world countries, who have never been exposed to the gospel. How can their hearts be judged if they have never had a chance to accept or reject the Word? Why on earth would God punish them just because of where they ended up living? I think that all of us know in our hearts that God is just, kind and loving. We have to trust that he has a solution. Nevertheless, I believe that we have a responsibility to 'gently' stand by what we believe to be right and to help others to see it as well. Ultimately, it is always one's choice to believe or not to believe. And it is ONLY God who will be the final judge. You are not alone. Love, Ben |
