Hi Nash, You know, I just saw something on t.v. today that is pretty relivent to the situation you seem to keep finding yourself in with friendships and relationships in general. I am praying you will recieve this in the way God would want you to because I think I certainly need to relay it to you. I'm not sure if you watch Joyce Meyer on t.v. but I really like her a lot. When it comes to plain-old common sense issues of faith, I think she is very, very knowlegable. That and she really has a great understanding of our identity in Christ, a topic I really love as well. Anyway, here is what she said today, see what you think. I think she's right on with this one. She said to think of people whom you pray for in this way when they seem to get overly cranky and testy, or when they do a lot of un-spiritual ranting and raving, or when they seem incapable of displaying any kind of "fruit" (of the Spirit) in the way they think of or treat others. That is, when they act this way it is very good proof that God is at work in thier lives, putting them through some fairly difficult spiritual growth as a result of the prayers of others. I think this is exactly what is going on with you right now, brother! You seem to be at your "un-spiritual","un-fruitful", ranting and raving best right now. Have you thanked God for all the people who are currently praying for you and probably have been for quite a long time? I am one of them! Perhaps if you begin your day with a prayer of thanks for your loving Father who thinks so much of you that He has put such good and thoughtful friends in your life you might manage to get through a day without having a fit over the relatively small things that seem to bother you so much!
