Yes, it largely makes sense, and I see what you mean. BTW, I don't consider myself a religious person, but I seem to have developed an attraction/interest towards it over the past few months. The only bit that didn't quite make sense was that if Jesus said that his kingdom was not of this world, it would seem pointless for Christians to hope that Jesus would take over the government of the planet. On the other hand we have as much right to express our views as anyone else Quite true, I'd agree with that fully. - so if we are in a majority, it may end up looking like a theocracy. I understand. I think the wise thing is probably to argue from a rational shared view point; for example the 'Keep Sunday Special' campaign in Britain focused on the issues other than the 'God says'. That sounds like an extremely reasonable point of view. (Of course, digressing slightly, problems can arise arguing from a shared point of view, even leaving "God says....." out of the equation entirely, if there is no shared point of view, I know, but yours still seems a very reasonable point of view).
