I note the dominance of men over women in Ephesians; and in Aristotles discourse on slaves; however, it seems to me that this is no maliciousness in the type of dominance which is being discussed, and as such it would appear to be benign dominance.
Probably to the same extent that being gay is humiliating in a society where it's not accepted
The question that arises in my mind then is why being gay would have been considered humiliating in that society.
