I'd be interested to know if when you look back on the positive relationship you had when you were 15, if you think the relationship could have been just as positive with just as much bonding without the involvement of sex. When I was a kid, I never saw my father. So I wanted desperately to develope some kind of relationship with an adult male. And although I discovered what sexual pleasure was in the form of masturbation, I never had any desire to have any kind of sexual contact with a man. I had one such experience with a much older boy. But it was because I was caught by surprise and didn't really know how to say I didn't want it to happen. It certainly didn't traumatize me, but I didn't like it, even though there were pleasurable sensations. I was scared, uncomfortable, and embarassed, even though the older boy was quite gentle and caring. So since I rarely hear from anyone who had a sexual experience with an adult that they look upon fondly, I'd really like your opinion on whether the sex was actually necessary for the benefits you received.
