My principles for ALL relationships are:

1) No sex before marriage (define it how you will)
2) Be loving and unselfish
3) Don't do anything that would damage or harm the other person

I consider it sin if I break any one of them. Someone could probably break the first two for ethical reasons, but to break the third one would always be sinful and unethical.
