I don't think you understand who we are. I am guessing that you are attracted to women (if not you would have cut out your eyes and all). Does this make you a rapist? I don't think so. It is simply part of your body and something you must deal with like anybody else. Since the Bible speaks of equality of sins, you are only bringing judgement on yourself by pointing out our temptations. You see, I have been attracted to boys before. I know it sounds gross! It is still hard for me to deal with and I have had a lot of self-hate over the years. However, God loves me. Through the Bible and prayer I have learned that mere temptation is part of everybody's life, including Moses, John, Jesus, and even me and you. Just as they did, we need to deal with it and not act on it. I have never raped a boy, and I never would. I would actually rather cut out my eyes, arms, or whatever I needed to in order to stop myself. However, God never asked me to do that. He just asks me to keep my mind on pure things and not fall to temptation when it comes. Again, you are asking for trouble if you put yourself above others. Try to see with God's eyes. Most of us here care more for children than your average Joe, and would never want to hurt one. That may be hard for you to see, but please don't let that lead to misinformed judgement. It really comes down to individual people. We are not the people you see on the news. We are not the people you read about in the newspaper. We are not the people you see in the movies. We are people, and to go any further would require something more than what you have now. |
