Nate!!! That is the name of the main character in my children's novel. The one I have not had time to write on because I'm too busy writing to all you bozos!! =0) I bet he is a curious and energetic boy. I hope that he has a man in his life that he can trust and look up to! Actually, Nate is the name of one of my yfs when I was working as a youth counselor - before I knew what a yf was. I knew that I was attracted to him, but I was handling it. When Nate trusted me enough to let me know that he was attracted to me, I did the "right" thing and reported the incident to my supervisor. By the time the smoke cleared, I realized that I had betrayed his trust, caused him to be humiliated publically, and damaged our friendship permanently. I use his name to remind myself that the issues we deal with are not as simple as we would like them to be, and that it is easy for me to be wrong. Well now that part about the monster I can sure relate to but I can't blame the church for mine. I was just a monster all by myself. I should not have gone so far as to blame the church... The sinful thoughts are mine. My point is that their way of dealing with me made things worse, and nearly created the thing they said they wanted to avoid. Thanks for telling me this.
