| Interesting question. I've had many experiences that have been like this. I will think of somebody, and they will call. For a while I didn't even read the caller ID. Sometimes I have also had intuition about other things, including seeing future events in dreams or feeling that they will happen. While God can and probably does do these things at times, I think it is part of the human experience in a more natural way as well. If you look at how the brain works, there are many interesting occurences. Think about when somebody asks you a question. Often you know the answer on some level before you actually think of it. This is caused by a lower level network. Taken from a larger perspective, this network can trigger thoughts or actions that you may not understand on a more conscious level. It's even quite possible that quantum events, with global constants, are "bending" and giving us what we might consider a connection to other people. With a closer knowledge of them, these "hints" can be used as mutual triggers which can be pretty accurate. Of course, this is just a silly thought by me. I am not the biggest expert or anything. I don't want to take the romance out of anything either, as God does exist and no matter how it works, it is ultimately part of his design. |
