I think I am quite similar to you in regards to feelings about women and boys. While I am attracted to women, I also don't seem to have the same passion for them as most guys. If I were to marry, I know my main purpose to do so would be to have kids. My desire to be a father is much greater than my desire to be a husband. That's not to say I couldn't love a woman both emotionally and physically. But I do think there would be something missing. I don't think that would be fair to the woman. So for this, and other reasons, I've chosen to remain single. It seems to be working well for me. I miss being a father much more than I miss being married. I've always been the independant type anyway. But since I've never been married, I can't really tell you that being single is best. I have nothing to compare it to. And each person is different anyway, so what works for me might not be best for someone else. I can't even be sure if this is best for me. So I'm afraid I can't give you much insight except to say I know how you feel. Dakota |
