Bach -
I'm not expert here, but my biblical understanding of the 'gift of celibacy' is that one is not COMPELLED sexually. It doesn't mean that they aren't attracted to the opposite sex (or the same one) and that they could not perform if they chose to be married. It just means that they have the option physically to not participate and not feel compelled.
