I've been there, more than once. I've been through things that I cannot imagine hell being worse than. But I've learnt to trust in Jesus - He provides an alternative way out. It may take some time and some work, but things can get better - and if you trust in Him they do get better, and you get better at handling the low times. You can get through this. Give it a few days. Can I suggest you spend some time working through the Psalms and also one of the Gospels? I am sure others can post some specifics that they've found helpful. God loves you. If you let Him, He will take you through this and on to better things. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want to talk to someone, or visit Lifeline (someone else has posted the URL), or do both. And please, keep going for another month at least, then see where things have led to. You may be surprised at how much change can happen in a month. |
