Sally, with your strict interpretation of the scriptures, I was wondering what your views on divorce and remarriage were in light of Matthew 5:32 and other verses? I ask becasue you advise Splash to marry even a woman with kids. And since most women with kids are divorced (I know some are widowed), I was wondering how you interpreted parts of the Bible that speak on this issue. I don't think I really advised Splash to marry a woman with kids. Just meant to tell him that if he chose not to it was a choice he was making and not necessarily one God was making for him. I believe that if a man divorces his wife the woman is free to marry again. But if she divorces him for any reason other than adultery she is not free to marry again. sally |
