Hi Snowball,

I have never read anything by you in here befor, and I do not know where you stand as far as faith in God goes, but Jesus Christ DOES have an answer for the age-old question of,"Why do such bad things happen to good people?".

For Christians there is a very real reson for our troubles. Jesus said it best when He said,"In this life you will have trouble.". He wasn't kidding. (Of course, He never kidded with anyone about matters of life and faith.) He told his deciples this because they needed to understand that once they became His, they no longer belonged to the world and the world will reject and hate anyone that dosen't belong to it. We live in a fallen world that does not follow God by it's very nature, and never will. Trouble is THE nature of this world anyway, regardless of whether we belong to the Lord or not.

There is one thing that can make all things in life worth-while, make it worth living. That is God's grace and love. This can only be found in a personal relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ...there really is no other way. Will it make all your problems disapear...no it will not. But it will give you the very best resourse for handling whatever comes along...even a "sweater-sh-ting cat." I have seriously considered suicide many time myself, and I probably would have done it a dozen times over, but God has NEVER let me down and I know now that He never will. Life is not easy, it's true, but God's love makes everything, even horrible problems, worth-while. I will be praying very hard for you because I think God is going to show you how greatly He loves you through all of this.

In Christ's Love,
Chris
