Hey Andrew! I also lurk here often but don't post much. Many people ask really deep thought-provoking questions, and sometimes I feel I'm not qualified to answer them. The people who do answer those questions, like Forgiven, Ben etc., take time to formulate long, genuine and knowledgeable answers. If I were to answer, I'd probably not say much besides, "I feel for you" or "hang in there, I've had similar experiences". With regards to my own questions (I haven't asked any yet!), I feel like I'm not quite ready to write up a long diatribe and handle the (probably many) deep responses by our fellow Christians. In a sense that's a good thing, because I know that when I'm ready, there'll be a whole group of people who're willing to go deep into my psyche and spend a lot of time discussing with me. The bad part is that I might feel I'm "using" the group, 'cause I'm not contributing much to answer *other* people's questions. But everyone here's willing to help and support you, which is a great thing. If you're lucky, some poor soul will ask the same question you have on your mind, and you can bask in the group's replies without typing a single letter. ;-) Because almost all that's posted here relates to all of us. Many questions other people ask are questions I have too. So don't worry Andrew, just keep lurking and share when you feel like it. God bless, Genghis |
