Oh Splash, Splash, Splash... (what an odd name you have!) my deep friend. lol

This last week the board was stagnant so I read some old posts. Read one by you where you quoted from two others you'd put on different boards-- and was amazed at the depth of your thought and commitment to do right.... "No splish splashing in the shallows for this fellow," I said to myself.

And then today you give us this:

This is salvation by grace. It does not say you have to do anything else to be saved. It says that FAITH in Jesus is how we are saved, and we show this faith by calling on His name. No matter if we call ourselves a Catholic, Protestant, Buddhist, etc. There may be some serious doctrinal differences among all these religions and denominations, but it doesn't change how we are saved.

I am amazed by you. You are a great big bundle of contradictions.

Good thing I am not your analyst. In my confusion and stupefaction over you, I would be singing the blues with the guy who had the poopy cat and the prostitute ex girlfriend and wanted to end it all.

Oh well, call me a hypocrite if you must but I am pretty sure that Buddhists do not have faith in Christ as Messiah, Lord, King of Kings or Prince of Peace, or very God of very God. Therefore I would have to say that since there is only one way to be saved-- the HOW you admit to-- that they, with their serious doctrinal differences, have not yet found that Roman Road.
