Well said - but doesn't God view our sins as being all of the same seriousness? Doesn't he know the fallen nature that we all inherit? Isn't this why He sent Jesus to give us a new birth? Which of us can then judge anyone else? Isn't the lie of a child as sinful as the sexual abuse of an altar boy by a Catholic Priest? (will we now have to say altar person? and assume that priest is either gender?) |
