I saw a clinical psychologist for about two years and am now seeing a counsellor regularly. Yes, the law does state that they have to report incidences of past child abuse and where there is a probability of future such actions--albeit if the counsellor feels that it's more like what other men would like to do to the models in Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue they MAY not. It seems to be more of a judgement call for future actions whether they're reported or not.

The psychologist was listed in the yellow pages as a "Christian Psychologist". I met my counsellor through Lutheran Social Services. I believe that the Catholic Church has a similar institution. But LSS will or should be willing to help anyone who asks and the rates are adjusted for income.

If you do see a psychologist for the depressionI wouldn't mention the boy love at first. You should feel out the relationship between the two fo you before you go into details like that. Then if you think it'll work, go ahead.

And for depression, it's possible it's clinical depression which can be treated with drugs. My depression is more situational; the weather affects it a great deal.
