Hi Ben, I feel very grateful to "hear" from you as well. But I am sorry to hear that you are so down right now. I want you to know that I do relate to your situation in life. I have lost contact with my own Y.F., L. This actually happened last year as a result of all the trouble I found myself in, with my stay in jail and all. He moved out of state and I do not know how to find him. I can only pray that God will keep him safe within His loving care and hope that maybe some day I will see or hear form him again. The one thing that always comforts me is that I know that God does hear our prayers and knows our hearts. But now with your own situation, Ben, I can say that at least you have not lost all contact with this young one you have come to love. I can tell that you love him by the way you have placed your heart into your post. In fact, I cannot help but feel for him because of your words. And I have to ask God,"Why do You always find such heart-wrenching need to place at our feet?" It was very much the same with L. and I. And I have to also ask,"Why is it these situations can sometimes turn on us, and we are left with such frustration." Well, I think I might have a partial answer to these questions, anyway. I often pray for more than that but so far this is all I have. God is the ONLY one who knows everything about every person and every single situation in that person's life. And, in His great wisdom, He does not always feel the need to tell us everything. In fact, He seldom does. But brother, He DOES tell us all that is good for us to know. Remember that everything He does for us is always for the good. Indeed..."All things work together for the good of those who are in Christ.". I will be praying for you, Ben, and for TJ and his mom.
