As some of you know, I edit the Philia sites (philianews.org),
which since 1999 have provided interfaith and secular resources for minor-attracted
adults from four sources: the news media, the boylove and girl-love communities,
the faith communities, and the sexual recovery communities.
(A clarification for the sake of those of you who aren't familiar with
my views: I do not advocate sexual recovery for all minor-attracted adults,
any more than I advocate sexual recovery for all non-pedophiles. I believe
that minor-attracted adults with control problems should have the opportunity
to enter recovery programs, just as I believe that non-pedophiles with
control problems should have the opportunity to enter recovery programs.)
For health reasons, I'm no longer able to maintain the links at philianews.org.
I've already decided that Philia
(the newsmagazine, not the domain) will have to come to an end; that was
a labor of love, but I don't know of any journalists in any of the online
minor-attracted adult communities who could keep the magazine going. (If
I'm wrong, please let me know.)
Since last year, the Webmastering of the Philia sites has been done
by an intrepid volunteer. However, the task of maintaining the links is
too much for one person. (No, I don't have any idea how I used to manage
it.) I'm looking for volunteers to keep their eye out for links for the
various sections of the domain.
I'm particularly in need of someone to maintain the sexual recovery
links; if the boylove and girl-love links at the Philia sites lag behind
BoyLinks and GirlLinks, no great problems will result, but philianews.org
maintains the only extensive list of recovery sites for minor-attracted
adults (MAAs).
