Chris, I had to undergo a very intense "lie" detector examination process also (after being offered a government job). I "failed" the simplest questions. We went through the whole thing three times and each time I "failed" different questions. The facilitator was completely flustered and angry with me. He had TRIED to convince me that HIS machine was 100% accurate, but now I knew different. Later, a deputy sheriff took me into a room and asked me very personal questions for two hours or more, trying to figure out why I messed up so badly on the "lie" detector test. Then I left and I never heard from them again. I honestly felt like I was raped that day, and it STILL bothers me. I hate thinking about it, and I'm embarassed to tell my friends that *I* was dumb enough to let them do that to me. And it also bothers me when people say things like, "Well, the lie detector proved he/she was lying..." Lie detectors prove nothing!!! I wish they'd destroy the things!

Peace, Chris. I'm working on another reply to you.
