You seem to be just as sure about your "truth" as I am about mine. Are we both "close minded AND arrogant" then? If me, why not you? You say Christianity is mythology and yet you state your belief in evolution which I say is mythology. You say angels are visions, and yet you believe in missing links. You say I'm engaged in "some seriously delusional head burying" -- but I could say the same of you. What makes you so "close minded AND arrogant" (your words, not mine) to make you think YOU are right and all Christians are wrong? If you believed truth was relative you might say we were both right in some degree at least. But you seem to claim absolute truth -- the absolute truth that Christianity has no truth? I say Jesus is Truth -- I sought Him and was found by Him, and He has shown Himself to me. I'm very certain that those who don't know Him don't know Truth. No words from me can convince you of this. No words should convince you of this. Don't be so close-minded to not even search Him for yourself. Or are you so convinced that Christianity is a lie that you've become so afraid to even give it a try for fear that you might become "delusional" yourself to believe something as truth that you once thought was a lie? Imagine for a second that Christians do have the truth -- how can they be arrogant for wanting to share it? Christians do believe they have the truth, and if they believe this, then they won't say they don't believe it. I admit that my views may need to be "modified from time to time" as you say, but I do know one thing for sure: Christ and Him crucified (and all the implications that go along with it). Now that I've found Him, I won't turn away. If He truly is THE TRUTH, then there's no arrogance or close-mindedness coming from my saying that I have found truth in Him.
