Hi Splash, my friend and Brother in Christ, It does matter, it matters to me. I love your posts and I treasure you as a brother. I love being your friend. I have come to respect your knowlege of God's Word and, whether you know it or not (well, now you will....), you have taught me a lot about reading and studying the Bible. A person cannot have that kind of faith without the Holy Spirit, it isn't possable, and I see Him in you so well! I hope you do not let the words of those who would come against us discourage you, brother. You "sound" like you are getting upset with this person. I don't blame you, he would get me going as well. I hate it when people try to twist my own words around and use them against me. But please try to recognise the handywork of our adversary. Twisting words is something he is really good at. But the truth is something that cannot be twisted, no matter how much he tries. I think this person is actually trying to side-step an even greater issue in his life. I can't blame him for doing that because many times I have tried to avoid admitting to myself that my own efforts in life were useless and that I really needed a Savior, I really needed God! Jesus is our savior because He is the only one who can save us from the one thing that does us the most harm....ourselves! It is a difficult thing to ignore the world that tells us to rely on our own efforts in life, and turn our lives over to the one who really loves us and really knows what is best for us always. But, as those of us who have done this can testify, it makes all the difference in the world. Say, I sent you something a week ago, but it came back to me. I will be sending it again very soon, ok?
