Hi A.I.Watcher, I can laugh because you are probably closer to God than you think. That's why I cannot stop preaching. If I "preach" I do so because I love God, who really loves all those He has created in His image. You are included in that. We all are. I am intrigued about this challenge, but I have to tell you that my on-line time is limmited. If it is something that can be done right here in this forum, and you will be patient with me (as I can only be on-line for a half an hour at a time and I try to do as much here in the Forum as I can in that amount of time...), then perhaps it will work. One thing I never claim, however, is that I am smarter than another because I am a Christian. Becoming a child of God did not automatically "pump" my brains full of knowlege, or anything like that. Actually, God has given me something so much better than mere head knowlege, although the brains I do have certainly have come from Him as well. God loves all people, regardless of thier inteligence or I.Q. Take, for example, a person who is, say, mentally retarded. What God does for that person is exactly the same as He does for me. He gives us a new heart. That is something the world cannot give, and it is something the world at large cannot understand. If you try to understand God with just your head, you only actually get just a small part of who He is and what He is about. You need to use your heart. I will take your challenge if it will work out, but only if you take a challenge I have for you first. Here is my challenge for you. Think of someone in your life whom you love the most. Anyone will work, but it has to be someone you can say is the closest in your heart. It does not even matter if that person actually feels the same towards you for this particular challenge, ok? Now, try very hard to get a good, strong picture in your mind of that person. Ok..... The God whom you call a "pile of rotting pig flesh" loves you just as strongly as you do the person you have in your mind. In fact, He loves you much more than that. In fact, He is the author of love, even the love you feel for the person you have in mind. Even that love is a gift from Him and it is one way in which you were made in His image. God is Spirit....that is why you cannot understand Him with just your mind. The challenge I gave you is a step in the right, spiritual direction towards Him. If you can, in truth, tell me in this Forum, that you have indeed done this, and leave out the nasty language directed at God, myself or others in here, I will take your challenge. God Bless!
