Introduction

Hi all, First of al, I'm sorry I had the bad manners to get involved in a controversy before even introducing myself. As you may have gathered, I'm a "fundamentalist" or even worse, but I'm usually content to express my opinions more quietly than I have the last two days. I hail from a very warm and loving Christian household that is a true blessing from God. So much for the Christian part. On to the B... Bo... *concentrates*. Boylove. Yes. There we have it. =) OK, seriously, this is something I've struggled with for a few years. I do not really have anything in the way of actual physical atraction for boys, that is in wanting to have intimate relations with them. What I do have is attraction for seeing their naked bodies (in pictures generally). Why, I have no idea. I can honestly say that I absolutely never fantasize about doing anything with said bodies. The other aspect is my definite attraction for boys in real life, a healthier one that is mostly just what I see a lot of you here experiencing, a strong prediliction to love and appreciate the lives and personalities of boys, and sometimes (though rarely) also of girls. Usually this latter is free from any sexual interest of any kind, especially when I'm with the persons in question. I have hypotheses about my various attitudes, but they're long and boring and not something I really want to go into right now. Suffice it say that, while my boyloverness may vary slightly from the "classic," if such a thing exists, I think I can fairly well relate to the emotions and feelings related here. I've kind of skimmed over and generalized what are really the source of deep and sometimes very positive and wonderful emotions. We may [respectfully] disagree on some things, but if, as I feel, most or all of the people here love Jesus, love their fellow beings, and have a strong desire to do the right thing by both of them, then I hope I may participate here as a brother in Christ. A beautiful and apt verse you have at the top -- a wonderful promise from a wonderful Savior. Thank you all for providing this excellent forum to help those of us with this problem deal with it in a Christian and loving manner.
