Welcome "I.I.B." (you have a long 'nick, so I thought I would just use the initials. I hope you don't mind.) First I would love to extend my "welcome" to you, and I want you to know that you always are welcome here. You have asked a question that probably all of us have asked. That's a good thing, friend, because God has an answer for us. His answer is found within His love for all who are created in His image. That means everybody on Earth. The answer lies within His love. No matter who we are or what we think of Him, He can only think one thing of us.....that is, He loves us with all of His heart! I know this sounds simple, but when you stop to think of the great diversity of humanity in the world, it becomes an awesome prospect. God's love is described in 1 Corinthians, chapter 13 (I cannot remember the exact verses, but it is usually called the "love chapter".) When you get to the part that says "Love is.....", just replace the word "love" with "God", and you have an accurate description of Him. He IS that and so much more. A Father, a Shepherd, our Redeemer and Friend. His Son calls us His friend if we do what He commands. He commands us to love one another. Love is our universal answer to all things.
