Fascinating discussion there isn't it!! Where would we all go for our spiritual input if all BLs were automatically barred from coming to church (yeah like gay people were, and still are in places). I know that I would be lost without a paddle if I was deprived of both the Christian teaching and the fellowship I get from church life. There are those who know what I am, and accept me although would never quite rightly accept any physical acts. But I have yet to be courageous enough to declare it to the whole church congregation, and I am not sure if I ever will be that courageous. Yes there is a problem with children in the church and I have to be very careful not to get attached to any, or let them get attached to me. My wife, pastor and the guy who heads up the youth work all know, and I hope would be on me rapidly if I showed any signs of over friendship with any of the boys in church. What other answer is there? Should there be a BL Church like there are Gay churches in some places. The police would certainly know where to come if there was - and so would the mob who like to hound paedos! |
