I read a day or two ago about some guy that has been sentenced to 8 years probation for 3 counts of posession of child porn. Apparently what happened is this guy wrote to Dear Abby asking her advice in relation to his fanasies. He said he fanasied about having sex with young girls, including his girlfriend's daughters. Although the article gave no indication that he had ever acted on his fantasies, Abby turned the guy in to police. The article was short and didn't say how they traced him or exactly what kind of child porn was involved. This saddens me. It's yet another instance of someone asking for help, but getting abused by the system instead. And Abby of all people should know that fantasies don't make someone dangerous. Dakota |
