Depends on the group

Whether it is being silly or not depends on the group surely? I have two guys I meet with in the church who are str8 with no BL leanings. We have been meeting for 18 months or more now and have got close enough to trust each other implicitly. My two friends both shared problems they had in the heterosexual area - pornography and another woman. I eventually shared my feelings for boys which I really needed to talk about and have support/help over. Amazingly they did not throw me out of our triplet, but have been tremendously supportive and now can act as a brake on me - as two of the boundary fences I have to haveto keep me from failing. How thankful I am to God for providing two such friends, and for providing the support I need. So don;t rubbish such groups - but I imagine they need to be smallish and long standing for anyone to open up seriously with issues of our sort! Bill |
