I know this is way off topic, but I just can't believe this. In the US planes are supposed to be separated by five miles front, back, and on the sides, and by 1,000 in altitude. What gives with the Euros changin' an obvious safe procedure? I know it ain't the plane, Cold War propaganda aside, Tupolev builds a great product. Andrei Tupolev was the Russian equivalent of Glenn Martin or Bill Boeing. They beat the Concorde into the air by 8 months during the great SST race with the Tu-144. I'd be very leery of what the Swiss say. Their bankers are STILL silent about their complicity in the Nazi theft of the asssets of Holocaust victims.
