Yes, the question what would jesus have done came to mind many times. And like you say, he more then likely would have offered him a home, unfortunately, I am not in a position to do so. Besides, chances are he would have ripped me off,if I did offer him my home (so to speak). In hindsight, there are a lot of things I perhaps should have done, could have done dfferently and would do differently, if I found myself in a similar position again. But what's done is done. Maybe I'll see him again some time. Only God knows. |
