It is what I do with it that is the key. Amen. "Don't copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you nto a new person by changing the way you think." Yes, this helps a lot. For example, we don't have to fall into society's definition of who they think we are -- sexual perverts who pursue relationships with boys only for the sexual excitement we "get off" from it. We can change our thinking about who we are and channel our interests and energies a bit differently -- using our interests in boys as a tool to affect good into their lives and not cause them any harm whatsoever. However, if you think that changing our thinking might cure us totally from any sexual temptation and lustful thoughts, I'm not sure about that. But I do know that spending time with the Lord in Word and in prayer does keep our focus on Him and gives us strength to do as He would do. Peace. I wish you well with your teachings. Splash |
