In this nation we have a FIRST AMENDMENT ESTABLISHMENT CLAUSE, and its served America well since 1776.

Brilliant men like Madison and Jefferson KNEW that for a republic to survive and be truly free, all religious intolerance and attempts to force their beliefs on the populace were EVIL.

In the "Federalist Papers", Thomas Jefferson quotes Rousseau. "True enlightenment will only happen after the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest."

I think Oz has made a step in the right direction. If you wanna GOOD example of what happens when a religion influences a government, you need look no further than Iran.
