i read your message earlier in this forum, and if your here i just wanted to throw my ideas out... when you say that "God is in your life" i question this. I have listened to many say similar things and later found that they have not understood scripture. please understand i am not attacking you but rather just checking... the problem with humanity is that we all have a "me, myself and i" problem. this is the easiest way i can describe what the bible calls sin. sin is all about me. jesus came to change this problem. on our hearts before we are saved we have a throne where "me myself and i" sit. God wants to dethrone our hearts, we have to acknoledge this (Romans 6:23) the sin problem, we are following the wrong plan for our lives, that plan is "our plan" and that is the wrong plan. when we acknowledge Him and declare (Romans 10:9-10) with our mouths God does something, i can't explain it but He does something, He touches us. and when he touches us, we are internally and eternally changed. me myself and i now has been discovered and pointed out and will never be the same again. at this point is when we let Him, which is a day by day choice, we let Him sit on the throne and run our lives, telling us what to think, say, believe etc., and this is done by His word. The word of God needs to be the most important thing in our lives (Romans 12:1-4) we are to learn from Him, and this is where the "Holy Spirit" comes into this as Jesus is now seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me. i wanted to ask you "who told you you were a gay man" cause that is not what Gods word declares you to be. Gods word declares (provided you have done the above) that you are now the righteousness of God in Christ, and that now you are going to become more like Christ. Jesus was not a gay man either. Understand that the accuser of the bretheren whispers in your ear and tells you things like that, "you are gay, you can't satisfy your wife" etc. etc. We have to battle him (satan) and decifer the truth from the lies. and that through Gods word, cause that is the truth. you are not gay and you do not need to pursue a relationship that will be doomed from the begining, as it is not Gods plan for your life. as for boylove read some of the message threads that have went on before and i think you'll find them helpful.
