I'll be around and keep watch. It's rare I go a couple days without looking into some of the discussions here. It would interest me to know how or why you've come to hold certain beliefs... and what are those beliefs. Perhaps I've been presumptuous, feeling tricked. My words were quick. The verse you quoted (Matthew 23:15) is very true, unfortunately, of many Christians -- the whole sad chapter in fact -- but it does end with, "Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord" (Matthew 23:39). Interestingly enough, this verse is given right before the "signs of the end of the age" and it speaks of two different types of Christian followers -- the ones who receive the warning and are mentioned in the verse you give, and another group of Christians who come in the name of the Lord, calling him Master. I hope you are blessed by the latter (v.39) and avoid being proselytized by the former (v.15), knowing the distinction between the two. Splash |
