Your reviews of the above two films are very moving. I do want to see these films. I know that you feel uncomforable with the story lines, but these type of films make me want to draw closer to the charachters, almost to rescue them from the situations they're involved in. For instance during "Sleepers" I could've knocked out Kevin Bacon's charachter on several occasions, but I know it's only a film & justice was served in the end, forgive me if this offends anyone. It also was allegedly based on a true story from those who lived in "Hells Kitchen" I belive.
