Welcome, Reason. The fact that you're aware of these feelings and know there is a line not to be crossed says a lot about you already. Seems like you know yourself well. The problem is usually with how other people view your actions. My YF's father would sometimes lay down on the floor with him (while watching tv) and keep kissing his sons face, almost nonstop. I, even I as a BL, thought it was sick. I think things done in moderation work well, but be careful of going overboard. If the kid turns to you and makes some sexual jokes while you're doing it, then it might be time to stop. If the kid starts to direct where you should rub his back (besides simply scratching different areas of his back) or the rest of his body, then be careful. It seems to me that you're pretty well aware of where to draw that line. Don't be too hard on yourself. Kids need affection and it's very healthy for them. Keep your feelings in check, but I doubt it's necessary for you to worry much about going too far. Do everything in love (not lust) and you shall do well. When it's your own kids, I'm certain you'll do even better. I hope you hear from others on this board as well. Good to have you here. Splash |
