I would go with all the other replies and avoid it. The fact that you are both nervous shows that neither of you are sure it is the right thing. You do not know where it will lead to - however pure your motives might be. And even if it lead to nothing, I am sure there will be people out there who will interpret it in the wrong way. Ultimately, you need to know what God wants in this. Would you be fully at peace with God if you met up? Why do you really want to meet him? Just because he is 14 and lives nearby? Or is there really an element of desire there for a cute lil (or not so lil) boy to be with? What would you do together if you met? Where would you meet? Would his parents know, and what would they think if they did? One could go on with such questions - and don't worry, they occur to others of us in similar contexts. You are not alone. In Him Bill |
